french-resin-wall-lamp-textured-modern-sconce
French Ribbed Resin Wall Lamp

Up-and-down lighting is the quietest thing a wall fitting can do. Two beams leave the fixture in opposite directions and wash the wall above and below it, so the light appears to come from the wall itself rather than from an object attached to it, and there is no bright source anywhere in the sightline.

The surface is ribbed rather than plain, which is what stops the form from reading as a blank block between those two beams. Grazing light along the flutes picks out every ridge, so the texture is at its most visible exactly when the fitting is switched on. Three finishes are offered across the range, all in a matte tone.

Resin is the material choice that keeps it light, and a light fitting means a simpler fixing and less strain on plasterboard. It suits hallways, bedrooms and living spaces where atmosphere matters more than task light. Wipe with a soft dry cloth, keep solvents away from the matte resin surface, and have it installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated. Mount it at roughly eye level on a clear stretch of wall, where both beams have room to graze the surface properly. A row along a corridor at matching heights reads as architecture rather than as a set of separate fittings.

Design: Ribbed textured surface

Light: Warm dual emission, up and down

Material: Lightweight durable resin, matte finish

Size: Compact wall mount

Style: Modern European

Use: Hallway, bedroom, living space, stairwell

Care: Soft dry cloth, no solvents on the resin

Installation: Hardwired, qualified electrician

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1074/0092/1422/files/Sfabe0d68ba444286964da188d13581fdx.webp?v=1788266923
