modern-3d-metal-wall-clock-silent-quartz-movement-decorative-clock
3D Metal Crescent Wall Clock

Layered crescents in metal, standing off the wall at slightly different depths, so the clock casts its own shadows and changes as the light in the room moves. It is a decorative object with hands rather than a timepiece with decoration, and at up to 58 by 48 centimetres it is sized to be the thing you notice on a wall rather than a detail on it.

The movement is silent Japanese quartz, which is the part that makes a clock this large livable: a ticking mechanism at this size fills a quiet room. Two sizes are offered, large at 58 by 48 centimetres and medium at 46 by 39, and the smaller one suits a study or hallway where the large version would overwhelm the wall. Against a plain wall the layered shadows are most visible, which is where the design works hardest.

Metal construction gives it real presence and durability, and the finish holds up better than a printed face over time. Because of the size and weight, hang it on a fixing rated for the load rather than a picture hook, and check it is level across the widest points. Dust the layers with a soft dry cloth and keep it out of damp rooms. Set the time before hanging it, since reaching the movement afterwards is awkward at this size.

Material: Metal

Sizes: Large 58 x 48 cm, medium 46 x 39 cm

Movement: Silent Japanese quartz

Design: Layered 3D crescent

Mounting: Wall mounted, load-rated fixing

Style: Modern, artistic, decorative

Use: Living room, bedroom, study, hallway

Care: Soft dry cloth, keep away from damp

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1074/0092/1422/files/60afd41b-6308-4169-b5a8-74296fbc218c.jpg?v=1788266670
https://mulskihome.com/en/products/modern-3d-metal-wall-clock-silent-quartz-movement-decorative-clock
