Two globes stacked vertically do something a single one cannot: they give the fitting a direction. The eye follows the line up the wall, which makes a low ceiling feel taller and gives a plain wall a vertical axis to sit around. That is an architectural effect rather than a decorative one, and it is the reason for the arrangement.
Brushed gold rather than polished is the right choice for a frame with this much visible metal. Polished would throw hard highlights from two light sources at once; brushed holds a soft sheen and lets the globes stay the brightest thing on the wall. Two size options are offered, and the frosted glass hides the source entirely at eye level.
Because the light comes from two points rather than one, the output is softer and the shadows less defined, which suits a bedroom or a hallway better than a single brighter fitting would. Wipe the glass with a soft dry cloth, avoid abrasives on the gold finish, and have it installed by a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the board first. Mount it so the lower globe sits at roughly seated eye level, which puts the upper one above the sightline and keeps the vertical effect intact. A pair on facing walls reads as a scheme rather than a single decorative accident.
