The Crystal Wall Light sets precision-cut crystal panels into a stainless steel frame, so light passing through breaks into small bright reflections across the wall behind it. It is the kind of fixture that does most of its work at night, when the refraction reads as texture rather than glare. Off, it still reads as a piece of hardware worth looking at. Black and gold frames are both available.
Two sizes are offered, 14 by 30 centimetres and 21 by 45, which is the difference between a pair flanking a bed and a single statement piece in an entrance hall. Both take two G9 bulbs, not included, which lets you set the warmth: a warm bulb gives amber sparkle, a neutral one keeps the crystal looking clear and cold. Mounted at eye level the effect is strongest.
Stainless steel resists tarnishing, so the frame keeps its shine, and the crystal only needs dusting with a soft dry cloth to stay bright. The fitting runs on 220 to 240 volts for indoor use and is hardwired, so installation belongs to a qualified electrician with the circuit isolated at the board. Let the bulbs cool completely before changing them, and avoid touching new G9 bulbs with bare fingers.
