Iron, wood and acrylic in one flush fitting: the metal frame carries the structure, the wood ring gives it warmth, and the acrylic diffuser spreads the built-in LED evenly across it. The result is a ceiling light that reads as a considered piece rather than as the default fixture a builder installed. Nordic restraint, applied to the least interesting fixture in most houses.
Five sizes run from 23 up to 60 centimetres, with power scaling from 13 to 64 watts, so the same design covers a corridor, a bedroom and a large living room. Warm white, cold white and neutral are all available, and some versions add remote dimming, which is worth having in a bedroom where one setting rarely suits both morning and night.
The LED is integrated and energy efficient, so running costs stay low and there is no bulb to replace; treat the fitting as a unit rather than a lamp. The wood tone varies slightly between pieces. Dust the diffuser with a dry cloth and avoid solvents on the acrylic. Installation is hardwired and should be carried out by a qualified electrician with the power isolated. Check the ceiling rose position before choosing the largest size available.
