A pendulum is the one moving part most clocks lost when quartz movements arrived, and its return here is deliberate. The swing gives the piece something no digital or plain analogue clock has: slow, quiet motion that catches the eye across a room without demanding attention, which turns a functional object into something closer to a kinetic ornament on a wall.
The frame is open rather than solid, with an acrylic ring carrying the dial and warm timber accents around it. That openness is what keeps a clock of this size from feeling heavy: the wall colour shows through the middle, so it reads as a drawn outline rather than a disc, and it works on a wall that already has art or shelving on it. Four finishes are offered across the range. The pendulum is driven by the same movement, so there is nothing extra to wind or set.
The movement is silent quartz, so the pendulum swings without any ticking to fill a quiet room, which matters in a bedroom or a home office more than anywhere else. It is lightweight enough for a single fixing. Hang it plumb, since a pendulum shows any lean immediately in the way it swings, keep it out of direct sunlight, and dust it with a dry cloth. Hang it where the swing is visible rather than tucked behind a door.
