Timber and pastel is an unexpected pairing, and it works because the wood grounds the colour. A pendant in soft pink or green alone can read as a children's fitting; the same colour set against natural grain reads as considered, which is why Scandinavian design keeps using wood as the anchor for anything brighter than white.
The silhouette is layered rather than a single shade, so light escapes between the levels as well as below them. That gives a softer overall distribution than a solid cone and puts some light on the ceiling instead of sending all of it downward, which stops the fitting from creating a bright pool in a dark room. Ten colour and size combinations are offered. The timber section is left natural rather than painted, which is what balances the colour.
It suits kitchens, dining spaces, children's rooms and any interior that wants some colour without committing the whole room to it. A row of three in different tones over a bench is the arrangement that shows the range best. Wipe the timber dry rather than damp, avoid abrasives on the painted sections, and have it installed by a qualified electrician. Plan the drop height before installation so a row hangs level.
