Colour is doing all the work here, which is unusual for a Scandinavian fitting. The form is a smooth aluminium shape with clean contours and a matte finish, and the only thing that distinguishes one from another is the macaron-inspired tone it comes in, chosen to be noticeable without dominating the wall it sits on.

The head adjusts, which turns it from a decorative object into a working light. Angled toward a wall it gives indirect atmosphere; angled down it puts a defined pool onto a book or a hallway floor. That flexibility is what justifies a compact fitting in a bedroom or a home office, where a fixed sconce usually ends up pointing at the wrong thing. Aluminium is light, so mounting is easy, and it does not rust or chip the way painted steel does over years of being knocked past in a corridor. The matte finish hides fingerprints well.
