The silhouette is a closed flower bud rather than a dome or a globe, which is a small departure that changes the whole character of the fitting. The narrowed top and rounded body give it a shape you notice from across a room, and because the form is sculptural rather than geometric it sits comfortably in a Scandinavian interior without looking severe.
Light output is warm and energy efficient, which suits the rooms this belongs in. Over a dining table or a kitchen bench it puts a defined pool on the surface; in a bedroom it works as a softer general light that does not glare when you look up at it. Clean lines and soft curves are the whole design language here, and it dates far more slowly than anything more decorative.
The LED is integrated rather than a replaceable bulb, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to change, and the fitting should be treated as a unit with a long service life. Installation is straightforward but hardwired, so a qualified electrician should fit it with the circuit isolated at the board. Dust the shade with a dry cloth and avoid solvent cleaners on the finish. Two sizes are offered, so scale the fitting to the table below it.
