The Stellora is a small acrylic ornament with a light inside it. Cut with faceted internal geometry, the block catches and splits the LED behind it so the shape appears to hold light in three dimensions rather than simply glow. Four forms are offered, moon, star, sun and diamond, each mounted on a slim metal base. It is closer to an object than a lamp.
A tap turns it on and a long press dims it steplessly, so it can be a soft night light for a bedside or a brighter accent on a shelf. Three colour temperatures, warm, natural white and cool white, change the character of the piece considerably: warm makes it amber and cosy, cool makes the facets sharp and icy. The dimming is smooth rather than stepped, which matters at low levels.
It charges over USB and runs wirelessly once full, drawing about a watt, so it can be moved to a table, a windowsill or a cafe counter without a cable in sight. Wipe the acrylic with a soft dry cloth rather than paper, which scratches, and keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight so the material stays clear. It is a common gift choice for that reason.
