The TempoStone Wall Clock reads as a piece of stone hung on the wall rather than a timepiece, which is the point. A high-definition printed face over a resin body gives it a mineral texture and depth that a flat printed dial cannot manage, and the numerals stay clean and legible against it. Seen from across a room it looks like a solid slab; up close the texture is the detail that holds attention.
Inside is a silent quartz movement, so there is no ticking to notice in a bedroom at night or an office during a call, and it runs for months on a single AA battery. Three diameters are offered, roughly 30, 35 and 40 centimetres, which covers everything from a narrow hallway to a wide wall above a sofa or bed.
At three centimetres deep it sits close to the wall and casts very little shadow, and it is light enough to hang from a single fixing in most walls.
